They are pretty close. The Audi adapter allows to access 5 playlists and plays all songs in a row when CD6 is selected. The DICE is using CD1/2/3/4 to select Artist/Album/category/Playlists, or something like that. So the DICE is more flexible but both are very limited.

Dice was the US distro for Ice-link (Dension) My guy at 2point5.com (http://2point5.com) said for every 20 dice units he installs 5 -8 go bad in 48 hours. But if you have factory sat radio the dice is the only one that supports it. Otherwise they both do the same. Don't buy the Audi interface.

Also, 2point5.com sells a really great dock for all the ipods

Can anyone tell me if you can browse for a single track using the headunit of steering wheel using either the icelink or dice unit. Or are these things mostly just a shuffle setup?

prev/next song is pretty much all you get with both adapters.
