So on the quest of cleaning my paint from the accidental overspray from wrinkle painting my entire car, I asked Shifty of any good ways to get off the over spray... He gave me a bottle of some delicious smelling clear liquid and a lint free cloth... After taking his advice and QUICKLY rubbing the stuff on the paint, this is what I got after two attempts of claybarring... The car felt smooth as hell before I did this, but now AFTERWARDS is a whole other story!! I wanna rub my pee pee on the car!! Never seen my car this nice... I still need to put a good coat of wax on it now...

Any chance you can give a name the magical liquid?

I really wouldn't recommend using it all the time, maybe a once in a lifetime thing, but it was some really good quality paint thinner... If Shifty sees this post later on, he can probably chime in...

is it called 900 by any chance? Comes in a square tin. Used that all the time when I worked at a body shop and it rocked, sorta like a paint thinner

I have no clue... He just went back into his paint booth and came out with a ketsup bottle full of it...

900 cleaner will take anything off.....uncluding your clear coat if u leave it up there too long

i've never clay barred a car but i'm seriously thinking about it now. not sure if i'll want to rubb my pee pee on it afterwards though lol

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I did one panel at a time and when I was done with that panel I IMMEDIATLY sprayed it with some clay bar lube and wiped it down...

oh yeah DON"T leave 900 on lol, it'll eat away your clear/paint, like use a rag and put some 900 on it, then rub away whatever, then wash your car and wax. The way I use it all the time.

u should polish the car and then wax it. strip + polish+ wax= the win

No need to polish here really... I have polished it enough and it still looks good from last time...
