Where to dump old gas?

I have some old gas from my Corvette and my mom wants it out of the garage. I don't want to dump it down the drain and the local gas station wouldn't take it. Where can I get rid of it (legally)?

I did that once. never saw the can again. It was old gas from my dirtbike. lol[:D]
