Hey guys,

I know a bunch of us have been looking for a fmic that can fit behind that stock bumper support and still efficiently support the power of an eliminator or some other big turbo. I was searching around and found this:

http://www.streetimports.com/product_details.asp?id=360

1. Do you agree that this may fit under stock bumper support?
2.Do you also agree that for most peopl with the smaller bt's this would be efficient?
3.Do you think it would be a good deal since you can get piping for 100 shipped, so about 300 all together for a seemingly better than average core?

Let me know guys, cause im very interested in it, and i measured behind my front bumper support, and there is about 2.25-2.30 inches of space in there, which seems like it would fit perfectly between the support and radiator.

Thanks
Oteni

Looks good size-wise. About 3" will be obscured by the bumper support and you will probably still have to chop the little tabs off the back of the bumper support - but that is minimal.

The height might be an issue. Make sure you measure the space you have behind the bumper at the points where the end tanks will be not in the center since the bumper curves inward at the ends.

Dimensions:
- End to end length: 26 inches
- Core Size: 18" long x 9" high x 2" thick
- Inlet/outlet diameters: 2.5"

its still 2.5 inches wide. the core is 2 inches wide - 2, in the middle of 2.5 would be 2-1/4 from the back to the front of the core. the ends are 2.5 -

The full core is 2" thick, the end tanks are 2.5" which means they will over hang .25" on either side past the core surface. Not a great design since there will be a lip on the inside of the end tank right where it meets the core.

you will still have to cut.

thats pretty much the same size as mine, except that one is taller. and i had to cut a fairly large chunk from the bumper support, especially where it curves in like mike said.

might work if you dont have an A/C condensor.
