So, we always see threads about this or that breaking, so I figure it would be nice to have a thread where everything's actually working fine :)

I'll start off... after about 3 weeks of chasing down problems, my car is now running decent (although I think I need a new MAF sensor). I even have my interior put back together! [hail]

My car is running great for what it is. Need new tires and an alignment, but it's running nice and smooth.

ill be home from school in less than a week. i left it in almost perfect shape, so we'll see how many things broke in 11 weeks

Just swapped back to my 1.8 trans so it is running great now.

other than a probable boost leak somewhere, bad sludge/oil pressure issues, valve-train noise, a squeaky rear suspension bushing, a leaky rear brake caliper, worn synchros, torn CV boot, and a partridge in a pear tree

my car is running well [:D]

mike y did u go back to the 1.8t trans?

The front diff blew out on the 2.8 trans when I was at SAC raceway, it let go on the very next pass(hot lap) after running 11.3 at 129.5 mph.

I also went back to the 1.8 trans because it has shorter gearing. The gearing in the 2.8 was just too tall in 3rd and 4th gear, so much that I was going thru the traps at 6700 rpm going 130mph. The 1.8 gearing will bring that rpm up closer to my peak hp(7800-8k) while going 130-135 mph, which means I will be able to use more of my power band in 4th gear. I think this should give me a lower ET and higher trap speed. Right now I am talking to a shop that would be willing to build me a gear box built just for drag racing, using straight cut gears and the gearing I want. Hell I would be willing to use all 5 gears if they are all close ratio and keep me above 5500 rpm, just as long as 1st gear is tall like the 2.8 trans.

Car is running great. This is always good because now I can spend money on it for upgrades not repairs. Oh the cycle never ends =)

My car is perfect up on the jack stands - it doesn't need to move because my engine is so powerful it moves the world around it.

For zero tune and running a stock ecu, my car runs great. Not perfect but great. Idle is off sometimes and it sometimes dies But the 28RS still screams beautifully and actually overpowers the milltek.

A kid asked me at a stoplight how i shoot flames from my exhaust haha.

I just cant wait until she is fully tuned

My A4 is running great now. I had to finally get the work done on it so I could get the check engine light off so I could pass E-Check. It's been nice not having to stare at that annoying bright orange light as I drive around.
