testpipe leak

just installed the testpipe! everything seems really good but I want to check and make sure that there is no leak.

what is the correct way to check for a leak?
is soapy water ok?

I used an industrial swivel socket to get the 3 bolts on the cat that's attached to the dp.

warm the engine up and wrap your hands around the flanges where they meet. if you feel any pulsating it's leaking. you might get severe 3rd degree burns but at least you'll know.


if there's an exhaust leak you'll hear it. just rev the engine and listen.

that was the very very hard and risky way. you're lucky you didn't strip the bolts. they have very shallow heads
