View Full Version : Does your A4 burn headlight bulbs excessively

I have been going through headlight (H7)bulbs at the rate of 1 every 3 months. Have any of you experiencened this issue? Im upgrading to a HID kit soon.

not yet with my audi, but my VW used to until the VW dude was like " for the most part you can buy most VW parts elsewhere cheaper, but bulbs last longer when you buy the OEM ones " no shit, he was right. i know thats hard to believe but they really last longer than the swylvania replacements i was putting in. good luck. audi/ VW electrical is awesome !!! hahahaha

mine did until i changed my headlight fluid, now its fine, apparently you have to change it every third oil change

I have the classic halos on my 98 and i'm pissed.In 3 months 3 bulbs[mad] !I'm seriously thinking of changing my theory about finding a girlfriend with a gas station,and turn it to an electric shop[:o]

You need a wire stretcher and a left handed canoodler to fix that headlight issue.
My h7's are about once a year and at $20 for the silverstars x 6 $$$$

i had to replace one d2s bulb in 4 years
