If I weren't impatient, I'd have spent more time making it look realistic, but you get the idea. I'm confident I can do the body work to complete this mod, I was just curious what everyone's thoughts are. I think this would look real nice with the intercooler that's lying underneath my bed [:D]

not bad but you should try and see how it looks with just the middle grill section lowered to the bottom like you but leave the 2 sides as they are stock..i think that should look better

can someone tell me where to pick up that grille material - i need to make some - someone told me it was called expanded mesh - but where to pick some up -

i think you can get it at home depot

expanded metal mesh, home depot lowes, lots of places like that

looks nice. i ahve toyed withy the idea of doing that so many times. i actually have someone that said they would do it for me . . .

I think it would looks pretty shitty....but its a good mod for budget. I think the time you spend modding the bumper you could be saving up for an s4. bumper.

How do you plan on keeping the bottom valence to the bumper once you cut that section? Because that section is where they 2 hook together.

That will work[rolleyes] You need something much stronger. Duraglass, 2 part epoxy etc. Bondo WILL crack.

yes its called expaned metal mesh come i all diff sizes its at home depot in the hardware section like witht he nuts and bolts cost like $17 for a whole sheet not the greatest pic but you can see what it looks like onmy car

I'd use fiberglass for anything that needed support.
