you should retitle, "Which Exhaust will piss my neighbors off the most at 2 am?" But I'd have to agreewith Jonny up here and say the AWE.

my friend ran an open dp on his 86 vw Golf, we had to yell at each other just to have a conversation. It would literally set off car alarms as we drove by.

Better yet, WHO here took off there 2 resonators in the middle of the exhaust system?? Example....Testpipe,straight pipes ALL THE WAY BACK to the 2 main mufflers, thats it. Anyone do this???

My car's stock but I ran open midpipe for a day. It was pretty loud and everyone looked at me weird cus I had a loud audi. Strangely, there was NO gain in running open cat so I guess the stock mufflers aren't as restrictive as I thought

i have the awe w/ test pipe, it's loud when your on it, but pretty stealth when not.
i haven't heard the creative in person, but based on the clips of both awe n creative, i would say creative is louder w/ test pipe

well, you could buy any of the above and install couple of electronic cutout valves ( just before the back mufflers).

That way you can piss the off on demand [:D]

Before you think about going straight pipes or open down pipe you should read up on exhaust backpressure and turbos. It is a hard issue to tackle, but when it is perfect your car will run better and sound better as well.

I was running test pipe two res and no mufflers for a while, it sound like a race car and i could make it backfire so loud. I went back to my rear muffler set up because its not as loud and it sounds deeper. I will make a video this weekend.....
