Hi, ive been in the B5 S4 forums for about a year but everything is going downhill. The car is constantly in need of expesive repairs as well as my monthly is high. Went down to Rusnak Westlke (So Cal) and they said I could get a B7 A4 2.0T for between 300 and 400 a month on a lease.
Wanted to know what your experiances are with how that pricing ends up when your done with options and if you have had any experiance with this particular dealer. Also going from 360+ ft lbs to 200 (pre chip of course) makes me [=(]. Anyway thanks for the responces.
BTW I was thinking A4 Sedan 6 spd, Tit pkg, Conv pkg, Prem pkg, Bluetooth, and NavPlus. Either white or red would be cool but I want to know what you guys think.
Thanks [:)]

I love my car and I'm very happy with my purchase. The only thing that I regret is not getting the B7 S4, which I have not acquired enough disposable income for anyways.

The only things I don't have on my A4 are: Titanium package, parking sensors, Tire pressure monitoring system. It came out to be about $45K.
I have S-Line, Quattro, Navi, Premium, Sunroof, Tech/Convenience, 6MT amongst others.
And please DO NOT GO TO RUSNAK- originally I was set to buy my car there (Even put several thousand down as a deposit) unfortunately the sales people as well as the managers treated my parents and myself like 2nd-class citizens. So we all walked out angry despite the deposit that was already put down (which I had to physically show up in order collect later- they refused to mail it to me, and once I arrived they treated me even worse, not to mention with a group of customers watching the finance manager cursing and yelling other vulgarities at me).

with all those options you want, you are looking at 500-700 per month depending on how much you put down on the lease.

Thanks for the info, good to find out this info about Rusnak. I know the option add up real fast and all of those would be nice but I need to look realistically. Currently Im paying $525 a month for my B5 (yes I'm being hosed on the interest rate at like 16% because im 19). So I would like to stay in the 400 range so I guess the cool stuff is out. Convenience package, Premium package, and Bluetooth are what I pretty much need. The 08 model includes the S line body so I dont have to pay for that package.
What dealers do you guys recommend? I am about 2 exits from Rusnak so thats why I went there first. Any experience with the autogallery off Topanga? I don't really want to go further than burbank or santa monica because if I need warranty work (which since it is an audi it will inevitably need). Also they mentioned that they can include the basic services for about $600 ie 10k 20k 25k et cetera. Is that odd or does that seem right?
Thanks for the help in my time of need [drive]

I've seen someone mention in another thread that Downtown Audi is pretty decent.

I am assuming you are talking about at the crank right? If it is then 360 ft/lb is easily acheivable with some basic mods without going big turbo, just chip, intake, exhaust, down pipe, test pipe, FMIC, you will have 360+ ft/lb, and it's only running on 91 octane

john would know lol [:D]
yes, you can sure come pretty close to that with bolt on mods. These 2.0T FSI cars respond very well to bolt on modifications so it you should def have a good time with it if you do choose to go that route.
let me know if you have any questions ;)

Integration, you got ripped off.
Rock, I have an 07 S Line with Titanium and Bluetooth and NAV and it has everything. I know people at Rusnak Pasadena. I send people there and they are in and out. I wouldnt send friends there if I didnt trust them. I get nothing out of it, I get the same deal as anyone I send there. In and out no trying to get the most out of you.
For my fully loaded A4 with lojack, I paid 39,000. If you want to talk let me know.
Also Ive owned a B5 and B6 S4. Im not dissapointed with my chipped, TP A4. I miss the B6 sound and torque and the seats but the B7 A4 isnt too far off.

I had the B5 S4 and the V6 torque and sound you will miss no doubt. I also ran into the reliability issues eventually on the B5. I now enjoy a problem free B7 and it feels oh so good. Did I mention you will miss the torque and sound of the V6tt??lol

I obviously didn't end up paying $45K but that's approximately what the MSRP pricing is for what I had packaged together; I paid closer the amount you listed above (give/take a few hundred) out the door with tax, license, etc. all included. And that's beside the point.
Honestly, I'll never go back to Rusnak again. It doesn't matter if they'll give me the same car as what I have now for $0.50; I was treated horribly and disrespected by not only the sales people but also the managers as someone that is of lower class than a normal human being. It doesn't even matter if the people you know are NOT the people that I dealt with at Rusnak- all of their employees are representatives of the same corporation. And I refuse to deal with people that treat me any less than a human.
If I have the time to waste, in order to pursue a lawsuit with Rusnak due the horrendous things they've made me experience, believe me I would.

No its not Obvious what you paid. And im not trying to change your mind or asking you to justify yourself. Just saying that was your experience and has nothing to do with anyone else or even the Pasadna location. I really dont care. Im offering someone this chance and if they want it fine if they dont I still dont care. Take it or leave it, but your experience, as it does suck, isnt the rest of the worlds.

First off just to clarify I am talking about Rusnak in Westlake Village not the other one. second, good to hear other b5 owners have made the switch and I am not that crazy. Maybe I will swing by the other local dealers and see what they have to offer. Thanks for the info ill keep you posted on how this stuff is going down.
PS thew a CEL on my way to lunch /cry
