im doing a 2.25 in piping just to replace the old cuz it's really is bad shape, using the stock resonator with a magnaflow 14816 muffler at the end, hoping it turns out nice, i have no plans for upgrading my turbo for everyone that would say the pipes need to be bigger so this is fine for me. i wanna do a test pipe, soon, that replaces the cat right? but for right now im really pumped about this is a test pipe street legal?

Hooray! I have a custom magnaflow exhaust too, sounds great you will love it! but my piping is 2.5 and the testpipe as well! Testpipes are illegal because it removes the cat but you get a whole lot more power so ive heard(mine isnt on yet)[:(] Ive been slacking, next week sometime itll be on for sure tho[cool]

I know you said don't tell you to go with different piping but you should go with 2.5" piping even if you're going to keep your k03. I'm running 2.5" piping with a Magnaflow muffler/resonator and the bigger piping lets it breathe sooo much better. 2.5" FTW!

thats just dumb to keep the 2.25 piping if your going custom... just my opinion though

it will cost so little extra to get the 2.5" piping there is no reason not to get it. If you're worried about back pressure, don't. your oem resonator which is 2.25" will solve help, but i love my 2.5" and couldn't imagine anything smaller.

Same, 2.5" is the smallest piping I'd ever run even with a k03.

yea dude def take off the resonator it's really loud w/o it and i feel alot more response from the throttle. good choice to me...
