Also I am kinda of boned I was trying to change my rear abs sensor and i pushed the rubber thing back in instead of pulling it out so now it is trapped. How do i get that rubber piece that you can see from the car out.

yah took them out just another steel panel - and can't get into it from there either. Its like trap in between.

clean it, then there is an acidic solution you can wash it with to prevent that.

Too late now that K04 is going to come out in like a month going GTRS. Had the K04 in there since march - next one that has it is going to worry about that.

As for mods - i lost track. All I know is my wallet is always empty. For the last year I can say I have done something to my car every weekend. Either it be maintenance or adding on a new toy. I can't pay attention in class anymore senioritist - and just wonder what I will be doing next weekend. (Homebrew heat shield this weekend) I wish I was one of those guys that are satisfied with a KICK ASS sound system and have all the girls love me for that.

mods to come that is all i know.

GTRS, injector, tapp software, 3" inlet atp and trying to fit a dam 90mm maf
new tires and alignment
wideband A/F gauge
stg 3 or 4 ofe clutch
fixing abs sensor on the back
boxster caliper
get car polished
want a s4 or some type of body so my fmic doesn't fit like shit And I know a lot of people do it and run stock rear bumper with s4 sides and some type of bumper. But i really don't like how the body panel don't line up - its tacky but some people pull it off or I am just distracted by how good some other things look.

constantly paranoia
about sludge, timing belt, control arms, boost leak even though my car has no history of such problems

it is the evoms fmic - and I had to cut almost everything to get it to fit. I am going to have to cut into the steel frame of the bumper to make it seat perfectly. It fits like crap on my car, but other people with 00 and up have been able to fit it without losing their fogs.

What can you tell me about your 3" exhaust?

is it too much for the KO4? Is is just straight through, or is there something in there to keep it quiet?

Should be getting ready for my new dp and exhaust pretty soon.

My 3" is straight back with one resonator and a mangnaflow muffler.

Turbo do not need back pressure so if you plan on future upgrades to going to BT i would highly recommend that you get a 3" - if not 2.5 is good - but the difference in pricing between a 3" and 2.5" is almost none - so why not go bigger

With the 3" i don't even notice any lags at all with K03 .8 bar chip back then and now a K04 with GIAC - it is the best things i put in my car

I recommend getting a down pipe instead - since you get smog check every two years - or just keep the stock one in hand and exchange it.

My car is smog exempt - so i don't ever have to deal with that.

One thing i do regret is getting cheap on the set up - the magnaflow is nice and loud - but not a good thing for daily driving it is not only loud outside but equally loud inside - so don't cheap out on it. If you enjoy listening to music or listen to talk radio - it is not a good idea. I after all the stuff I will be spending on the car might add another resonator to quite things down even further.

Hey aytheory: How is your car smog exempt???? Can you set me up on that program? It was cool that you came out the other day.... you should have stayed longer we had a little party after the movie... we should get together when you install your GTRS with tapp tuning and run it against unitronics (after I figure out the problems)

Yah - i would have but my brother came back this weekend for Arizona so I had to go eat with him and everything. I can't wait till the GTRS kit is put together - but it would probably be after these next 2 weeks. (I have 2 term papers due around 20 pages each and 3 presentation) - I may need some of your assistant with the GTRS and installing it - I got someone's B6 kit and I got myself some of the missing hardware for the B5 so I have a grip of extra parts I don't know where it goes - very different from installing a K04 - and rumors that the ATP is not exactly "bolt-on."

ahahah I want to run against a Uni too - i was debating which program to go after and after numerous recommendations i decided on tapp for ndbw.

My stock clutch will probably suck - but wutevas

If you need help on the install I am here.... It will have to be after next week thought(Finals week) I would highly recommend doing the timing belt soon if it is due. how much would it suck to have your car up and running and it snaps. Plus it is a lot easier to do the turbo install if you are doing the TB..... Call me or PM me If you need any help.

thanks last time the tb was done - was at 90K the car is on 120K so about 20K before its next replacement - because I am in constant paranoia - i think when i do my tb, i'll do everything else like water pump, all the belts ac and alternator, and head gasket.
