Just picked it up, control arms are fine, interior/exterior are good... only issues are cruise control doesn't activate and passenger side window doesn't operate (slides down about 1/16" on it's own, have to slide it up and hold it, pressing the button on either driver or passenger window button causes no noise and no operation)

Otherwise it has 108k miles, no issues, no ANNOYING HARMONICS OF THE 1.8T!

Very pleased!

any advice guys?

why'd you sell the STi? and why did you get a 2.8? [eek]

2.8 is a better cruiser and daily driver.

Try a squirt of electrical contact cleaner inside the cruise control slide switch.

Well I took the door card off to tackle the window issue, clips broke on the regulator and someone tied the metal clips on the bottom of the window to the posts so it stays up... needs regulator :/

Do I need to remove the stalk to spray in the contact cleaner? I hear the 98s have a control module issue usually, should take out and resolder?

And compared to a 1.8tq, i'm MUCH happier with the 2.8, interior powerband fit/finish, materials the whole car is better IMO, i'd never buy a 1.8 car again

I'm done with fast cars for awhile, put some $ in the stock market and make some returns, wait for new evo/sti/vette etc

Pry the cruise control slider up with a little screwdriver and give it a squirt.

PM me for investment info. That's what I do.
