Hey,
So I just bought my first Audi, and I need to get a new clutch. It is a 1998 A4 1.8t, FWD. I was told I need to replace my flywheel...Is that correct? Can I not re-surface the flywheel of an Audi?

Also where is the best place to buy an Audi OEM clutch kit, and possibly flywheel?

Thanks!

in the future search...if you search, you will find all your answers.

are you planning on upgrading the clutch, or staying with stock, if you plan on modding your car, an upgraded clutch is a good idea. you can resurface your FW yourself, good lcuk finding a shop that will do it. you do need to resurface it for a new clutch though, ECS and southbendclutches have decent clutch deals...there is also SPEC and a couple more...

I would stay away from spec. if you have any napa stores with machine shops they will resurface for 50 and south bend will do it for free if you buy a clutch from them I believe
