Haha... i did the same thing. Poped it of my friend TOTALED A4, poped mine off, re-installed both and i was done inside of 5 minutes.

requires a T45 or T55 torx bit, or something like that.

One of my favorite mods. A little expensive for my '96, but worth it none the less.

Looks good.

what's special about the 1996 that makes it expensive?

wow, that looks so much better! feels better, too, huh?

my dads allroad has a 4 spoke like that(but with a bunch of buttons) and he has even admitted that he likes my steering wheels WAY better.

Take the wheel off, rotate it clockwise one spline, reinstall.

what's special about the 1996 that makes it expensive?

They only fit '96 and '97 and there wasn't a "sport" package so they are harder to find. And they go for anywhere from $250 to $350.

The first picture looks really sexy. The wood/leather color looks soo good. I'm beginning to miss the faux wood.

i love my 3 spoke too, but doesnt anyone know if the TT or another car is a wheel with a smaller circumference? I drove a 335i and the wheel was smaller then the audi and it felt great.

looks good but does it really make a difference? i have the 4 spoke on the celica and 3 spoke on the audi...feels the same to me. only thing the 4 spoke doesnt have is the bumps for the thumbs.

only thing the 4 spoke doesnt have is the bumps for the thumbs.

That's because you have the wrong 4 spoke .............. [:D]

hmm i placed the wheel back on and i think i got it almost straight.. turned into a pain in the ass.. i have to get the spindle's just right before u put it back together .. again, make sure ur wheels are pointing straight and the
S badge on the steering wheel is directly in the middle of ur legs(straigth down)
so u can get the alightment right.. that what i did with mine

my moms car has the thress spoke with the tiptronic buttons, my car has the four spoke, my dads TT has the three spoke. i find the four spoke wheel to be the most comfortable, maybe its cause ive been using it daily for 4 years [:p]
