"Piggie Pipes" AKA Cut out the Cats

Why are you guys spending that much money on a test pipe? I mean.. Maybe im wrong ,but could you not just unbolt the stock pipe and take a drill to it.. We used to do it to the old S4's.. Much cheaper and actually kinda fun..

i have done the same thing on my other rides this was the frist "test pipe" + stock cat is huge i was going to do the same thing but i got the test pipe for cheap on a group buy a while back and it is still sitting my work bench i want my car back dammit

Well of coarse you can do the old Piggy Mod but test pipes are so cheap, its a no brainer. Though I do agree on the fun factor of it all! Back in the day, I had my downpipes on the S4 custom made by Champion. Stupid idea though they came out fine. Should have just bought the APR DP's and called it a day. Live and learn!

Chisel? A snub mount would best be described as a "engine mount bushing"

after you freeze the metal you dont drill it. You use a chisel and hammer on it... We do it often in some of my labs

For those of you that know your stuff.. Nitro can be used to freeze wheel locks so you can crack them off... Same idea[headbang]
