View Full Version : Anyone have an estimate on a windshield replacement by an Audi Dealer?

I havent been able to get ahold of the glass guy at my dealer and I was just wondering what to expect.
Anyone have a ballpark?
i got mine oem one for 550 including labor.

i wouldnt go with oem, to expensive there are other well qualified people that can get it, for less....

they wanted 475 with labor. I think Safelite actually goes to the dealer to install it. Like it was said before if you dont care dont go OEM. I went to Safelite the windshield is almost flawless, but it causes some distortion on the bottom inch of glass, something I don't really see. And the glass was made by the same people who make OEM for Audi it just doesn't have the four rings on the corner. I got mine done for about 370. Not bad imo.

Well either way my insurance is paying for it. I'm only forking over the 250 which is my deductible.

That's nice your insurance is covering most of it, when mine cracked I had to pay it all. Ended up buying an OEM one from the dealer but didn't have them install it.

I love my amfam insurance man!
lol i have them. just started working for them. shoulda switched over to them earlier.
