I've tried some searching, but not a lot of luck. I'm looking for some ideas on improving the suspension on my 99 A6 Avant 2.8Q. I'd like to get a used sport OEM or aftermarket suspension plus larger sway bars.
Since the cars are of similar weight (within 100 lbs) can I use the suspension from a C5 2.7T sedan as long as it is quattro?
What about using S4 suspension on a C5, is that a no no?

Hey Dan,
What's your budget?
B5 S4 susp won't work on a C5 A6. C5Q to C5Q V6 to V6 should be no problem.

So an 02 4.2Q coilover set should work on my '99 2.8Q Avant?

Sorry, I clarified above; 2.7T V6 to NA V6 should be no problem.
Between V8 and V6, the spring rates will be different so be mindful of that (kind of like an S4 susp on an A4).
