Car just hit 100k last night. I still am getting compliments. people think the car is like a 2003 or newer.

TB and water pump job are coming up soon. Along with window tint, and getting my CF hood painted and installed...

Pics coming soon..

well the hood is already painted melange and CF because my last a4 was melange. So i either but the black and melange hood on, or paint it red.

I'll post pics up when I get it on.

105k here still running very strong, well as strong as a k03 is running 1 bar of boost. =)

Come on guys. You're not even broken in yet! 186K and running awesome. Chipped from day 10 on a Y2K TQ. Funny though, the last 10K seems to have an increase in HP. What's that? All I did was an engine flush.

As a side note the trannie ran dry of fluid some 80K miles ago. Thankfully the trannie noise had disappeared some 5K from whence this was discovered. Probably the input shaft bearing had disintergrated LOL!

Y'all are still just toddlers. This is my old daily driver, autocross, and track day Jetta VR6 in the middle of a 3600 mile road trip.

I'm at 147k on a 2001....and its running great. I was wondering today if I should keep the car longer and at what point I should consider an engine rebuild?

A true test would to see what your guys compression is at. I ran 160 across all 4 cylinders last night and that was with the throttle closed and on a cold engine. (DBW) I am assuming it would go up if it was warm and had the throttle open...

I haven't done a compression test but I got great gas mileage before rebuilding the engine (to install Scat rods) at 113k. I was deep into the 30's for long trips. Can't do that with bad compression.

201k miles on the K04 S4 Avant. Looks and feel like brand new except the driver's seat is nicely broken in. The rest still look like new. [:D]

90,000 and the only major thing I paid for was a clutch. It's been boosted most of it's life.

aaronamerica, that's interesting that you've installed a gt2871 with so many miles. I have 185K plus miles and thinking about doing the same except stock turbo refuses to die!!! So, can't justify until something goes in a big way. I wonder when this motor will tire?

Like I keep telling everyone that is SOOO suprised about their cars lasting over 100k... My dads 83 or 84 Audi 4000 Quatto lasted WELL over 500k miles with only needing the usual wear and tear... Plugs, wires, oil changes, brakes and clutch... He ran the crap out if it too, plus he added a turbo later on and it still ran like a dream!

passed 175.9K today. I need to change my oil tomorrow.

I don't want to know what my compression test would show.

I guess no one noticed the necro bump!

But while on topic, 117k with 170, 170, 165, 170 compression. Need to do a few things before the cold season settles in. 10k miles since ownership and the mod fever is almost over (suspension and wheels), till the final bug gets squished (BAT).

109500 on 99 2.8 tip, really would like to add a SC in the future but financially I'm not sure it will be possible. Runs great and haven't had anything go wrong since I got it "knock on wood".

122k on a 2000 and still looks almost new, it does have a few very small problems (dead pixels and epc light now and then) but nothing that effects how it drives.
