I'm looking to get the lowers on my 02 A4 painted and was wondering if anyone had some good recommendations for a shop down in San Diego.

Thanks for any advice!

Phil Thearles is awesome, but pricey
Sinful Enhancements has good prices

otherwise, try Wetworks Garage, or A1 Autobody or Mobworks up in OC

Thanks man! Much appreciated. [:)]

I debated for a while whether I should just get my lowers painted or if I should splurge for a kit. But in the end I decided I liked the stock look pretty much the most anyways (well, I do like the way the USP kit looks).

But something has to be done. I'm getting tired of that damn grey, especially since I have a light color to my car.

Anyways, thanks again!

i used wetworks to paint a custom fiberglass piece for my bug. and they just did an "alright" job. the paint didn't match as much as i hoped it would. but whatever. and they charged a pretty good penny for it too..

but i need to have a fender repainted, so i'm thinking of having them do it for me, just cuz they're close to my work, and they do have a good reputation i guess. i'll chance it and give them another try probably.

audi 1175 -

Cool, thanks for that recommendation. I might have to check him out. I got a preliminary estimate from Sinfull enhancements (just over the phone, didn't take the car in) for $540.00 to do the lowers. I don't have much to compare to but that seems a bit high.

I called Maaco but they said they needed to see the car even to give an estimate on any work.

If anyone has gotten their lowers painted here, how much in general should I expect to pay?
