Well I finally got my ECS sidemarkers and installed them this morning. I posted instructions on the DIY portion of the forum (still to be approved). There is another post already but it leaves out a few steps that will save you time and some skin. My version should allow you to install in about 15-20 minutes. And its easy! Anyway below are some photos of the final product. Oh and I also debadged her as well. No electrical for a hairdryer so I just used dental floss on its own. A little more work but same end result.

I just debadged. Much stickier than the stuff on my Passat 4 yrs ago. Took way too long. I will tackle the S Line badges next time I have 2 hours to kill.

This might be a dumb suggestion but has anyone ever tried a gray Sharpie marker on these side reflectors?

Seriously? I think that would be a total mess.

No SHARPIES!!!!! The color will fade first of all, and it'll look like total SHIT!
Anyway, it doesn't look bad I guess.. I think it should be darker or something. Since your car is a dark color. But take pictures from farther away. =)

I like the color a lot and it does look better at a distance. I finally washed and waxed the hotrod today and overally I'm very happy (see below). Now I just need coilovers, chip and some wheels. As for the sharpie suggestion I think that belongs in the kia forum. Can't get a B7 and then start modding it with markers.

Looks like it hasn't been approved yet. I submitted but it needs to be approved. Short version is below. Main difference between what is in the DIY section already is removal of the two inner screws and pulling out of the bumper piece. Allows you to insert a screwdriver to bend clips and remove.
- Remove two outer screws in wheel well (for left side, turn wheel to right, reverse for other side)
- Pull wheel well liner out and remove two screws beneath
- Pull on bumper piece (down and out) until it pops out and you are able to bend outward
- Use flathead screwdriver to push white clips inward
- Use index finger to release remaining clip (front)
- Wiggle the reflector out and replace. Reinstall screws

Great write up Cory, appreciate the detailed photos. [up] I finally installed my clear sidemarkers that have been sitting in my glovebox for the last month. Here's the end result.

I think i'm just gonna leave it red since ECS doesn't make a replacement for it, or paint it.
