Going to service department....need help

okay im going to order a creative exhaust system, this means im getting

the quad exhaust tips, im getting the OEM valence, and also ordering the creative test pipe...

The cars bought, and my father helps out on payments here n there...so he wants me to talk to service department to make sure it doesn't void any warranties....no problems basically...

what should i basically be asking them, cus i know the TEStpipe is illegal but i get my inspection done by close relatives that don't give 2 shyts...regarding the exhaust system and replacing the Valence...anything?

i mean they sell milltek exhausts at the service department, and have there own motorsports division (anchor motorsports), so i dont think it wil bea problem....

exhaust and valence shouldnt be a problem..
but testpipe will definetely void the warranty.. no questions asked.. and you cant even hide it.. once they open the hood.. they will see it.. actually.. they dont even have to open the hood.. they will smell it..
BTW.. if you havent purchased your testpipe.. im selling mine(eurocode TP).. used for 2 weeks.. is pretty much brand new.. just the polished paint is burnt off (normal with any testpipes)

I spoke to the service rep today and she said as long as the test pipe doesnt cause any problems leading to voiding the warranty its fine....


si tis okay to have it on? i mean it will cause the CEL light but i cant upgrade to APR stage II and delete it..right?

APR or Revo with delete the CEL. If your service people install it, or are just really cool dont worry about exhaust warranty. Work that out first though.

well the apr stage 2 the will delete the CEL light.

service department is cool with it as long as the test pipe and exhaust dont cause an problems.

so i think im good.

running rich, o2 sensors. and if something happens to the turbo, that has to do with the exhaust gas flow, and its bolted to the turbo. so guarantee they will at least attempt to screw you with that

Thats the law. But, dealers are all different and its all open to interpretation. If something goes wrong, good luck proving mods didnt cause it. And then some, dont care either way. But thats why you put it back to stock before taking it in.

Well my service depaertment did the APR CHIP.....so they know i have one, so il address that to them when i take it in....and if they erase it by accident, il get it again for free....
