is it still as bad to put just lowering springs on fwd a4? i figured it wouldnt be as bad as on quattro since lot of fwd cars just put lowering springs ... i want a quick answer guys thanks [az]

i would assume its just as bad, everything i ever hear or read says springs and struts

you dont have to get shocks as well, but its a really good idea if you want your car to handle well. otherwise, you'll just bounce around uncontrollably on blown stock shocks after a few thousand miles.

a set of bilsteins or koni yellows for a basic setup is my recommendation.

If you have sport shocks it works a lot better.
