Yah but be careful taking the chrome piece out. My dealership mechanic broke my headlamp auto lvling so now its all screwy. It looks amazing though, especially on black!

We preform the modification in-house here (or you can ship us your headlights)
Here are some old pictures of My car and John's (NINE1TWOINC) old car.

it is easy fallow the CC write up and when you have them apart you can unscrew the front silver trim inside the light and paint it. Im hope to do mine this weekend when i have my bumper off..

OK sweet. You think any type of black spray paint will do the trick? or should i use the same stuff that I used for my black out grills. That rubbery paint stuff. Thanks again.

i think everyone used the black paint... should be the same as the one you used on your grille.... but i would recommend going with the same color as the inside of the headlight.. the charcoal color.. hard to match.. but i think it would look the best.. just like the b6 euro headligts..
mine is black.. i wish it was charcoal.. but oh well.. still looks good!

I've been contemplating this as well. I almost did it when i had my lights apart for the CC, but decided not too.
I'm still up in the air as far as how it looks. I think it looks great but at the same time I think it take away from the front of the car a bit. The silver bottom is a nice accent and i think it looks pretty aggressive.

paint only the bottom part that is screwed on the lense.. the silver reflective part will give that contrast that you want...

i need help u guys. I got the headlight out and removed bulbs. Now what do i do?

you have to open your headlight housing.. like remove the clear lenses.. most people here put the headlight in the oven.. IMO.. thats stupid.. get a heatgun.. melt the glue and take the headlight apart.. but be careful with the glue.. that thing is sticky and gets pretty messy...
once you got it apart.. on the lense.. theres a silver "thing" you can unscrew.. and thats what you paint.. get a few layers of paint.. let it dry.. and put the headlight together.. and heatgun it again.. and make sure it tight...

Dude a oven keeps the light all at an even temp. a heat gun isn't accurate because because it doesn't cook the light as a whole......just my two cents.. i have done four sets and have had no problems.
