A welding job like that is NOT supposed to cost $300 USD, at most $80 USD.

I have a FWD with CVT. I'm getting an exhaust custom built from the cat back, including downpipe, from Fast Intentions.

Checkout Neuspeed website. Different place different price. Since you are in Australia, try check if you can find a Neuspeed dealer there. Think guys in US pays around 700-1000US$ for the whole system. I paid much much more in China as there is a high custom tax - and there is no way I can import an exhaust system in - probably cost me even more.

No sir ... aspire to own a RS4 but driving an A4. Will be happy if can get into a S4. The petrol quality in China is probably going to kill any of the RS4 or S4, so safe bet to keep it simple - down to earth always reliable 1.8T :))

haha, yeh....my dad has a passat 1.8T in china.....ermmm...not too reliable...the turbo screwed up twice in 3 years. cost him more to fix it than the actual market value of the car...haha...
the petrol quality....sighhh....u can trust carltex, but u dun find too many of them around the place....CNPC, probably not too reliable. [wrench]
in regards to neuspeed exhaust....dun seems like they make it for FWD, only for the quattro??

Wow, it's that bad? No wonder the value of my stock in Sinopec have been going down recently (j/k). I would think gas quality would be better considering it's expensive in Beijing (expensive meaning inflation has driven gas prices there to be comparable to gas prices in the USA after them conversion from 人民币 to 美金) and when I was there in the winter of 05-06 there were no shortage of BMW 5-series, Audi A6, various types of Mercedes Benz everywhere.
This is off-topic but...

It's comparable to the weather in cali, 35-41 Celcius...but dense air, pollution, dust makes it so much worse. Most audi's you see in china are actually "made in china", only audi's with quattro are actual imports.

most bmw are made in china as well, except for top of range cars such as 7 series, 540+, 330, 335............[up]

APR does have an exhaust for the FWD B7. As a matter of fact we do have 3 units in stock. If you want, contact me about it,
