As soon as i gave the car gas after school today my car would sputter along pretty roughly. But that only occured for a couple seconds so i didn't think too much of it. But after about 10 minutes of driving i pulled into a turning lane and the idle got real rough and the car died right there. Turned the ignition again and gave it gas and it started but then the idle sputtered out again and the car died. Now when i try to start the car it will crank and everything, the guages and power will come up but hte car won't turn over. If im lucky i can get a sputter out of it if i lay on the gas while i turn the ignition, but thats it. Although the voltage guage is at like 6-8 volts where it should be at 14ish. It was also the hottest day of the year here so far, if that has anything to do with it.

Well i talked to a local auto shop and they said they think it's most likely a fuel system problem. Anyone else have any input on this?
