anyways, i bought a set of Tein basic street and still havent installed them yet. I called up eurocodes at torrance and they had to schedule me in 3 weeks cuz everything is booked in these 3 weeks. And i just cant wait 3 weeks to have my coilovers installed lolz....waiting sux....Then i called up GMG racing, and they wanted a whooping 500 dollars for installation and alignment all together.... in my opinion very much overpriced even though they have the porsche alignment machines..... so im just wondering if anyone knows any other trustworthy Audi tuning shops around L.A. area that can help me install the Tein basic onto my car..... thx in advance for any helpful info......

M1 Autobody in El Monte (near my house) installed my coilovers for 200 dollars... (Tein Super Streets) The guys are alright. I've dealt with them for a while now. But it got the job done!

Call Eric at Supreme Power Parts he installed mine in about 2-3 hours for $250 -- the same day I called him. I got lucky he's usually pretty busy - but maybe you'll get lucky, too?

M1 Autobody? I wouldn't go there unless you knew people... but then again it's kinda hard to f*ck up a coilover install.

It's not that the shop is bad or anything, I just wouldn't get my car painted there even though I personally know the painter on first name basis. They won't offer excellent service unless you know people and their receptionist is on a bit of the retarded side in being able to process thought. (don't talk to her about doing stuff to your car). It's cheap but I'd like to have better service.

[up] [up] Jose is the man and he has some very good prices. I've been to him a few times and when I take my suspension out in a few months before I turn in my lease, I'll be going back to Jose.

I know of so many horror stories with M1 Autobody, both from personal experience and from friends or people I know. IMO, unless you know the guy there very well who will be supervising the work on your car, I'd stay clear of them.

I've talked toM1 and have done small things there, but the mechanic that did my install seemed knowledgable in what he was doing. I just hate it how they hide everything and you can't see what they're doing while they install it.

I wouldn't go to eurocode... I had a really bad experience there, multiple times.

Then when i was on the way there today.... they called me again saying they can't do it anymore cuz the guy left.......... i mean half way driving to the place and telling me the guy left.... that is one of the worst customer service i have experienced in a while...... just to let you guys know that..... they blow........

That's typical M1 treatment for you.

F1 = NO also, theres a reason why EVERYONE that used to work at F1 left the company and formed Status Auto in Hermosa Beach. Status Auto = excellent customer service and treatment, second to almost none.

Those guys are shady too, they sold a dangerous combination of wheels (in terms of improper sizing) to a poor girl on Club Lexus. And then refused upright to take responsibility for their negligence.

D2 people are crappy!!! They treat you like shit and... They are cocky foos that own a bunch of MBs! I went to M1 to lower my car some more (40 dollars) 3 hours later... They tried to BS to me saying they lowered it some more and it looked about the same height! So I got mad and told the guy to do it again and he did it too low and said he wouldn't do it anymore and I said fuck it... Wanted to leave, but I paid and left unhappy... I recommended their shop, but now I regret it. I think the guys are Supreme Power Parts over the phone treat me better.

I'll slide in another for the guys at Status Auto in Hermosa Beach. Alex, Dave, Ray are cool guys and not to mention they know how to treat paying customers right.

I've heard nothing but good things about Status and had a great transaction with them on some HID's, but have never actually been to the shop.

It's sad but that's how it always is. You have to physically know people at shops and be referred to them directly in order to get good service. Your friend may own D2 but his workers are also representatives of his shop too.

i like to give a shout out to the Genesis sports people, i got my job done there. They are great people to work with. The shop is pretty new, that is why not many know, but they have a potential to grow big. Anyways i would suggest people try them out!!!
