I have a VF STG1 VR6 that needs to get smogged and I've been looking all over and can't seem to find a place. I'd like to preferably have one in the SD area, but am willing to drive up to LA to get this done. The cheapest I've been told around here is 350 to get it smogged...and there's no way I'm going to pay that.
Anybody know any people that don't care so much about visual (I do need a test only center though)? I'm pretty sure my car will pass emmisions, but just not the visual.
Any help would be great, my registration expires in 2 days...

are you just talking about passing the smog test? i had to do mine about 2 months ago because i bought the car through a private seller and i guess had to get a smog check. the guy just did it through the OBD II port and that was it. really easy. the cost was $40. but im all the way up in pasadena, not anywhere close to SD
