europrojektz
06-29-2004, 04:15 PM

europrojektz

wheels are Speed Star Racing wheels from Japan / Professors SP1.. custom ordered them in 5/112.. they have a very special finish called super black coat.. it's not as shiny as chrome or as it looks in some of the pictures.. i guess it's the lighting..

as for the euro corners and markers thanks for the suggestion but i'll stick w the amber ones =) i like them how they contrast with my color and how they match my euro tail lights..

here is a picture of the wheels in daylight :

Doesn;t quattro require you to have the same size on all four?

damn!! that looks real sick! nice bumper too[;)] . how was the fitting with the intercooler, any probs?

Saturnine
06-30-2004, 02:18 AM
Nope.

As long as F+R tires have the same side wall height (IE 235/40/18's) the width differences dont affect anything.

Hi europrojektz, my name is Joe.

I have a 98 silver A4 in good condition. Sure it has a lot of miles on it, but it's got a lot of heart.

Wanna trade?

not necessarily john [;)]

the sidewall is proportion to the width of the tire, so not all 40s same height

235/40-18 > Sidewall= 3.7 in, Dia.=25.4 in, Revolution=794/mile
245/40-18 > Sidewall= 3.9 in, Dia.=25.7 in, Revolution=784/mile

255/40-18 > Sidewall= 4.0 in, Dia.=26.0 in, Revolution=775/mile

notice the 235 and 245 have .2 in. difference and 10 times revolution, which is acceptable size for quattro.

but yeah when doing staggered, we should look for the closest tire height so not to mess up the quattro. just my .02

How much did the pulled fenders cost you? I'm looking to do the same thing on my S4. Please respond.

europrojektz
06-30-2004, 06:02 PM
it's been quite some time [:D] and all i can say that i dont miss the yellow at all !! hahah

-pulling the fenders cost is very hard to say since im sure in other areas is cheaper.. like i know in LA body work is way cheaper and you can get your car widebody for way under 5 grand..

i'm sure it will depend on the shop.. but i would say to expect to pay at least 4 grand for a full job that includes a paint job without color change that is...

sigh... hahah some old pics of my car before the color change..

What wheels are those?

-Hey Dave..

Apex Autobody did all the work on my car, yes the bumper front and rear were extended to match the fenders.. the rear was harder since it's plastic but they did an awesome job.. check them out if you ever need any body work they are in San Jose

350 Phelan Ave.
San Jose, CA 95119

dont forget to let them know that i referred you

Wheels are SSR Professors

-hey mike your nissan looks very nice!! love the rims [:p]
