I was overhauling my B5 front brake this weekend and found pitting on one pistons and some scratches on the other. I smoothed the edges however I would like to replace the pistons.

Were can I find replacement pistons? Rebuilder's have them so there must be a source.

I think you're going to have to find a caliper. [:(]

Theses brake calipers were used on '95 - '07 A4s, '98-'06 A6s and '97-'05 Passats. VW/Audi PN for the caliper is 8E0 615 124A

If you mean this http://xs414.xs.to/xs414/07165/brakepiston2.jpg from what I can tell this would be the same... but it's REALLY hard to tell...

Confirmed in ETKA, the A4 and S4 used the same calipers! As long as they were 288mm rotors with the allen slide pins then they are the right pistons.

Mine are from the dual piston fronts, I have a measuring caliper, let me see if I can get a measurement.

I doubt it's the right size, but I 'm up for measuring!
