anyways... im getting tein basic street soon.... so wonna ask here if there are anything i need to pay attention to after installation and using them..... please don tell me the search buttom cuz i did it and it basically had all the thread about how is tein basic compare to other coilovers..... which is not the info im looking for.

so if you have tein basic.... please tell me how good/bad it is and how much of a drop should i do on a 2005.5 b7 quattro with the sports package.... i have the stock 17inches rims from the sports package... so im looking for a nice drop without harming the handling....

I think you should do an even no finger gap, but not tucking look! It's not even as low as you think...
Anyway, I have the SS and I think they're useful for me. As far as the harming, it's definitely gonna be stiffer and you won't be able to adjust the damping with the basics... so yeah.

thanks for the input, stiffness is what i am looking for so.... i guess i will be satisfied by that.... im talking about sometimes when i set the suspension too low, it hurts the handling and turning ability of the car... thats what i am talking about... so i am wondering what is the lowest i can go before the handling is spoiled...

Well, with no people in the car, I have the front set all the way down and when I take hard turns, most of the time, I don't hit anything, there was only one time when I actually hit the top of my thing.

But also, I'm tucking a little so when I go up a really steep driveway, I tend to scrape the tire onto the fender a bit, but it's not loud or a big deal.

IMO one finger all around is perfect [up] If you want stiffness, add a RS rear sway, that'll help alot with the body roll. I'm very happy with mine.
