Hey guys,

I recently bought a set of used sport shocks and springs. Now the guy said they only have 60 K miles on them but when i got them today they look blown. I can push the shaft in without any real restriction. Is it normal for shocks to be that easy to push in? Pklease if anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated.

what is without any real restriction? like 5 pounds of force? stock sport shocks arent exactly the firmest shocks in the world

Well I dont have to really push on them hard at all, and I hear like a faint squeeking noise. They retract slowly if thats normal im not sure?? Kinda pissed if these are no good. Has anyone used the sport springs with bilstein shocks??

When i get off of work i'll go and check to see how hard my non-sport shocks are.

i could pump my non sports like a super soaker when i took them off at 88k miles

same here, well, maybe not supersoaker, they are a little tougher than that

id say it takes about 3-4seconds to fully compress it from a fully decompressed state, using all my muscle...

however, the bilsteins, i could not push in at all...

everyone must have missed the part where he bought used struts with 60K on them... [eek]
