Yeah, if you have any rust on the end links, you are going to have a hard time getting the nut off. It can be a nightmare.

I ended up using lotsa liquid wench. I also took a second nut of the same size, and put it ON the end link. This had the effect of cleaning the threads on the bolt. I don't think I would have gotten the original nut off without this extra step.

There has been more written on this if you want to do a search...

Yeah, the endlinks can be a real pain in the ass. Soak them with some lubricant the day before you want to put the new sway bar in and it should help a little. Other then that, it is a pretty easy job.

nuespeed has their own "special" grease, but i called them up and they said it would be fine if i just used regular marine lube (used for trailer bearings and other grease fittings and stuff). yuo can get it at any hardware store.

Just so you know, your car already has'em, on the front and rear axles. It links the left and right wheel corners somewhat,, so that the net effect is that during a corner your car doesn't lean as much, it stays more 'planted'. the discussion here surrounds replacing stock SB with a stiffer one, which resists twisting more. it provides a greater effect on keeping the car level during cornering.
