Yes, I said transvestite because the tranverse engines are gay! Had to change an alternator on my buddys 2002 Jetta. PITA! Then I told him that's what he gets for not buying my car!! [:D]

I like our engine setup!

Try a W8 in a Passat.

Never dealt with it my self, but the 1.8T is tight as it is, can't imagine the 4.0 in there.

I allways tell my friends with VW's their engines are in the wrong way. Silly Transverse

Yeah, I'm not on AZ too much anymore [:(] . The A4 is still for sale, have not really been pushing it. It's due for a price drop. The R is is a blast! And the car in the pics is a 93' Passat which will be my daily, but I'm thinking it might get a turbo [:D]

FWD does jsut plain suck, I was driving my Prelude this weekend after letting her sit for a few months I forgot how bad the front end pushes now that I'm used to the a4.

i hate fwd cars, they scare the shit out of me. not being able to throttle steer just isnt safe in my opinion

My friend just had a VR swap for his jetta, from the 2.0L 115 hp engines. What do VR's put out number wise?

the 12v's were 172 crank i can't remember the 24v's but i think they were 200 crank, and the 3.2L in the R32 was 250.
