I just joined the boosted awd clan and wanted to say that this board is so much more helpful than audiforums.com or vwvortex. In any event thanks!

It's a manual. Thanks! I didn't want to whore photos on my first post. Just wanted to say hello. Now I just need to begin modding the car. :-)

yeah, i started on audiforums originally too and have migrated over to here. Once in a while i post over there, but not much anymore. Do isee ou have the clear corner mod already?

04-15-2007, 02:58 PM
Yeah, it takes a long time for people to respond to posts on AF. Stinks. As for the clear corners, I bought the car from the dealership that way. Looks to be stock as far as I can tell.

The only mods I have done so far are a K&N panel filter and a short shifter.

I also bought a forge 007 diverter valve, boost gauge, hks turbo timer, and a greddy g2s exhaust but those just haven't made it on the car yet. I'm going to try to get to the boost gauge and the turbo timer tomorrow night though.

I think this might have been the shortest amount of time that I have owned a car before I modded it. It took at least 2 weeks before I modded my Civic.

BTW I've also found Audiworld to be very helpful

audiworld has a wealth of information, but the layout sucks so bad I cant stand it.

clean ride! welcome. audiworld is full of geniuses, but i hate their layout as well.

lot of good DIY on AW as well as a4mods.com. welcome and sweet ride good choice of first mods the DV is always the way to go

I wish that AudiWorld was easier to use also. I cannot use it with their layout. But a4mods looks like a good site also. I think the diverter valve will really complement a k04 turbo when I get a hold of one from [:)] . Thanks for the welcome everyone.

yeah welcome, haha your wallet should be getting smaller any day now..haha j/k

but yeah I agree, this site is the balls. I started out on audiforums but def like the zine a whole lot better, like someone else mentioned audiworld does have tons of great info but the layout sucks. Maybe its just us but who knows..

WELCOME, I also think this site as a great community feel to it unlike my old place (bimmerforums). BTW that car is clean, good choice.

04-15-2007, 08:19 PM
welcome man!!! audizine is the place to be, I was all about fourtitude for a while, but its all bitching and stupid fucking questions there, and it takes forever to get a knowledgable reply...and you can swear here...fuck!...see, no *astrics*!

lol, nice.

Thanks euro-tuner... btw, like the quote "Having a 9 second honda is like coming out of the closet. You might surprise people in the beginning, but in the end, you're still gay.". It's sad but true.

Got it thanks! I'm on the fence on whether I should do a k04 kit or buy everything separately. I still got some time though... still need get some piping to mount up my spearco front mount from my donor honda :-) Speaking of which, has anyone here ever tried to run a t3/t04e (stage 3 compressor wheel & .48 ar) with an audi? That would be pretty cool if I could put my old honda turbo setup into this car.
