lately i have noticed that when i rev the engine a little in neutral (nothing crazy just a tad when starting out, etc) on the way back down the engine kinda sputters around 2K-1.5K.

i want to say it has gotten worse because i'm pretty observant when it comes to the car. any thoughts? anybody else get this? and lastley, could this have anything to do with the PCV issue? (that's a longshot, but who knows, maybe the switch back to vac does something, although i obviously wouldn't really be making any boost).

what do you guy's think? a symptom of a small problem or just the 2.0T?

it's your PCV valve and/or stock DV. they're shot. go to tha dealer and have them check it out.

did u get a CEL yet for low boost or system rich?

nope, no CEL and no codes stored.

is this a known symptom of PCV? i've been wondering if i was gonna get hit by that

great, thanks for the info. i'll be sure to make an appointment with my dealer. too bad they can't just give you the part! i'd rather do it myself than spend 3 hours on a saturday morning out there, oh well.

well it should be under warranty, thus free. ask them first wha it is. if it's a PCV valve, get tha one @ ECStuning.com. it's better than wha they replace it with.
