Just got into my new whip and had a Stasis Streetsport CO kit I've been waiting to install. The thing is, price is secondary in importance to quality of work. I want my ride height to be perfect. So, any recommendation?? [:D]

Oh yeah, looking for a good shop preferably in the LA area!

I would avoid GMG like the plague.
Not that they do bad work but they are elitist, over-priced, and you can get the same quality job done elsewhere IMHO.
Search their name for a list of disatisfied posts.

Jose @ EuroTech or Dave @ eCode.
Both gentleman know as much about these cars as anyone you'll find.

The guys at M1 Autobody/DTM Autohaus installed my Coilovers...
Took 2 hours (A little less because they weren't that busy) and the cost was not bad at all.. Just make sure what you want before you enter in and tell them.

It's actually quite a bit of work, but like I said the price also includes an alignment. All of our customers also know that they get a free height adjustment as well... so shops charge upwards of $100 for the adjustment.

You take out the alignment, and you'll be down in the $275 range.

Eric at Supreme Power parts installed mine for $250 - although I did purchase the CO's from him to so I don't know if that was reflected in the labor rate. He did a great job and was done in like 2 hours.

for the LA area, definitely Euro-Tech Motors in Culver City and don't forget Torque Factory in Venice. yes, Jeff Moss is also a STaSIS dealer & installer in addition to all the GIAC/AWE goodies he sells.

Does Jeff install simple CO's? When I talked to him, I didn't get that impression.

I have had good experiences with Eurocode and M1 and will continue to use them. One of my buddies had a good experience at Wicked. The guys at Ingostadt seemed to be decent when I went by their shop a couple of months ago, but I can't comment on their work.

Personally, I did not get a "warm fuzzy" with GMG when I spoke to them....definitely understand and agree with the statement that they have an elitist attitude. I drive an Audi, not a bimmer....leave the attitude at the door!

i know he used to, then again he would probably only install the STaSIS stuff that he sells. i know for sure he installs the STaSIS big brake kits.

Eurotech is in Culver City right next to the 405 on Washington Blvd

Isn't Eurotech on Pico, next to the 405? Or did Jose finally move to a new location? I haven't been there since last year but will be needing to get ahold of Jose to get my suspension out of my leased car here soon.
