Looks like a good addition to any short shift kit...but any chance you'll be offering free shipping...the UPS Ground costs are almost $15 from CA to PA.

Try USPS priority. It is only $9. You gotta remember I need to insure and track all my packages. Now you save 6 bucks for 2 gallons of gas. gas prices = [down]

Got your order. I will get it out on Monday. Thanks.

Here are my instructions. If you think you can remove the shifter rod (2 bolts) one in the car and one underneath. Then some drilling of aluminum rivets. See these instructions also check the link on my first post for all the info.
http://jhmotorsports.com/products/docs/JHM_B5_A4_Linkage_install.doc.

Then when done put the rod back in and readjust your shifter.

I've been prototype testing this unit for the past 2 weeks. It is a work of art. Not only is the shifter physically stiffer in gear, but the shifts are a lot easier and more precise.

Once again JHM provides us with a quality product with fantastic results. [up]

I have vertical slop in my shifter when in gear or neutral. When in neutral I can move the shifter up and down about an inch. I have a UUC Motorwerks Short Shifter in. I believe that there will be lots of vibration transfered to the shifter from the trannie via that solid mount making the knob shake.

Does your car have pushdown reverse?

Elitedrmr above has my shifter and the linkage, ask him. With the linkage and getting rid of the rubber it has a little more feel. No major vibrations. You can feel a little, but that is what some people like including me, a full sporty feel.

Does your car have pushdown reverse? Also if your shifter goes up and down then it is your plastic shift ball and cage that are worn out. My aftermarket shifter is the only one on the market that replaces this with a steel spherical bearing. Check them out here: https://www.shop.jhmotorsports.com/categoryNavigationDocument.hg?categoryId=4

Make sure you watch the comparison video and it will explain why you are having that problem. With my shifter and the stock rubber u-joint you should be happy since it won't give any vibration, due to the rubber joint dampening all of it.

Did you mean to post this update in the B6 forum seeing that is what greg owns and what your link is for?

BTW the bushing setup you put in is working great, the shifter box doesn't move at all which makes the shifter feel even more solid. Now I see how bad the stock bushings were which caused the shifter box to move so much.

Yeah, I need to release those bushings. I just need to get them on my site. I put the update here since many people asked about it.
