i'd start by buying them....pretty cut & dry if you ask me

...the brackets, rotors, lines, and pads arent too much money

buy them then get the rest of the components from ecs or purems. that is a pretty good deal that is normally what most people pay for 2, are you sure they are in working order?

I'd like to know this too, I think I saw a pick of the 16" swings with these brakes so maybe?

Is there a rear brake conversion kit? How much better are the Boxster rear brakes than ours?

IIRC the rear brake calipers are useless. Hopefully I'm not talking out of my ass on this. You may want to verify.

hmmm so you guys say that rear brake setup is not worth it? if it clears 16" stocks im gettin the calipers next week for sure... to finish off the brake setup id also need a8 rotors ss lines and brackets and brake pads... anything else? would i have to bleed my brakes.. i read somewhere that if you do everything right you might not need to bleed the brake lines... any input on this would help thanks![az]

i'm pretty sure you need 17's for them to fit, you should just buy them and hang on to them until you get wheels or just sell them. also you should always bleed your brakes when ever you do anything to the system.

yeah i wouldnt pass up a deal like this, buy them and hold on to them and piece together a kit. You need either 17's or 18's to clear them not sure which one

17's are the minimum, not sure on offset though.
