i saw this picture on the vortex and was surprised because i didnt know our mirrors folded in! is it just facelifts-01, or do those of us with pre-facelifts but identical pass/drivers mirrors fold, too? cool.[:D]

takes a lil force to fold them in. mines are usally folded in since my street is kinda busy and narrow.

They fold out too!

hahaha, they also come off with enough force... or when a car hits them from the opposite direction of foldin inward.... in Japan, civic some stock with power-folding mirrors, they auto-fold in when you turn off the car, because of tight parking spaces, they also have stacking garages to save space and maximize parking space.

Too bad we didnt get the automatic folding mirrors like the late mk4s Jetta and Golfs

yea. my dads allroad has mirrors that will fold in by turning the mirror-adjust knob on the inside.

and its true, they do fold in. they are just a bit stiff at first so i didnt want to break them.

there designed like that so if ur mirror is hit it doesn't tear the door skin it just breaks off the mirror and for small spaces

Yeah they fold both ways...I found this out by clipping them once with my side as I tried to walk by the car.
