rolling the fenders....

assuming you are doing the baseball bat way....

Pro's: your tires do not get chewed up.

con's: F@*#ing up and it looks like shit.....

Do's: heat the paint up and go at a steady pace

Dont's: heating not enough or too much/ going to quickly and it looks uneven

If you are using a fender roller than I cant think of any down sides to doing it.... just heat the paint so it doesnt crack....

good luck

does it actually pull the fenders or just roll the inner fender

it just rolls the inner liner so it doesn't cut up your tire.
make sure that you dremel out parts of the liner around the screws which hold the liner connected to the fender line. this is so when you roll the fender, there won't be any irregularities when viewing from the outside.

is it very costly to have your fenders pulled to give you the wide body appearance. im thinking of getting it done possibly and running some spacers to push the rims out a little. wider is better. =)

The only real downside is that after the liner is cut there is a gap between it and the fender. I'd guess it is about 1/2" wide. I was worried that crap would get thrown up in there driving in mud and snow but it really hasn't been a problem.

i only had issues with rubbing the liner on the back half of the liner. I pulled the liners out and cut them so my engine bay is still covered. No more rubbing and I still have the liner protection. I did this because i couldn't figure out how to cut the liner so it all tucks together in a neat fashion.

I've always thought about extending the liners with fiberglass but just never got around to it. I was going to just use one long wide piece folded over the lip. Thin magnets would be molded into the edge like in some shower curtains.
