Hey guys, ive posted many times before about a loud exhaust. I love loud exhausts but cant seem to find one for audis. My car is tip-tronic, and so far i think the loudest are GHL, Thermal R and D, and AWE Tuning. Im not really sure i wanna do a testpipe because i have to pass inspection...And sence my car is automatic these exhausts that i mentioned do not include a downpipe. So my question is, If i purchase one of the exhausts that i mentioned and put on an aftermarket downpipe from Labree will it make a big sound difference? Also, do any of you guys know of louder exhausts without using a testpipe?

Just to let you know that louder does not mean faster.

But if you want a loud exhaust, I guess from that group of choices, the GHL would fall in that category.

Bro, it's sooo simple.
Why pay an average of $700 for an aftermarket exhaust when you can go to any great exhaust shop and have one made for you.
At that point you can choose what exhaust tips and mufflers you want to use.
Not to mention the diameter of the piping etc..
Think about it? It should roughly cost around $550 (+-)

I have the LaBree HF cat w/ Milltek exhaust. Before i put on the HF cat it was much quieter. After i put it on, it changed the exhaust note to a more deep and a bit louder tone. If you speak to the people at LaBree (Brent), and tell them you want a loud exhaust, he will make sure its loud. I know the Britalmann? exhaust sounds good too, but i cant comment on the rest.

why loud, we are talking about audi's here not honda's to make it sound like is farting all over where it goes, i think what audis and other europe cars should do is hum have that humming sound thats what i like about them.

Labree downpipe and HFC sitting in box waiting for AWE to finish up their current production run for exhausts. I'll post my opinion after install.

I had Labree exhaust and downpipe(on 1sicknickel's car now) and Britalmann exhaust on my car, so I guess i can chime in on my personal experience. If you want loud, then the Britalmann is not your choice, it's meant to be fairly quiet, and if you want something that's loud or even stupid loud, then you can just have some muffler shop run straight pipes from the down pipe back, no cat, no muffler no resonater, that I am sure will be loud.
