APR's Snub Mount Upgrade replaces the front engine mount on the car. This mount enhances upshifting and downshifting, reduces driveline shock, and helps power transfer by taking up excess drivetrain slack.

- from APR website..

engine doesnt shake that much when u let off gas in 1st or 2nd gear ... i really felt difference , super nice upgrade

are you asking if maintenance is worth it? if you are asking about the snub mount they are an easy upgrade although there are cheaper options than APR that do the exact same thing, if you want more info on them search it has been discussed enough.

the only way you get to know your engine is by DIY. i didnt know jack shit about these 1.8t until i did the TB myself. replaced turbo myself, and couple other things. now i can say that i am very confident when i get to work on my car, at least i know what i am doing. and also help others with questions.

clean engine bro. congrats.

They did. You can move the entire radiator support forward a few inches and lock it in place. It is just easier and more fun to tear the front off the car. It makes for better pictures too.

Nice job bronz. Anyone want to make a write up?

Well said. Holding a part in your grimy hands is a lot different than looking at it on your computer screen. [wrench]

it would be great to do a write for AZ, just like they do at AW, we need to have our own write ups too.
