View Full Version : Anybody Paint their Wheels like this?

04-04-2007, 10:43 AM
I have the stock 16" 2.8 wheels on my car right now, and when I lower it, its probably gonna be a month or so before I order my wheels. I was wondering if anyone had painted theirs black with a red lip like such:

I searched and couldn't find anything, and I was wondering how that scheme would look on a silver car, so if anyone has any black wheels with a red lip, please post them up!

When I had GSR Fat Fives on my Integra I had painted them this way, and I loved it, but the car was white, and extremely different body style.. however the wheels are very similar looking:

I really don't like how the insides of those wheels are painted red - it would look good otherwise, and its still a tight car nonetheless.

And I'm gonna wait until I am done eating my lunch to click that link.

lol...just havin a little fun, but yeah, you might want to wait for the appropriat time...no harm intended man, post pics if you do it!!

Well, I really loved it on my Integra, and it was insane how many older guys commented on them at gas stations, and wherever. I just hate the look of lowered cars on stock as hell wheels, and these have new Eagle F1's on them, so itd be a waste not to use them for at least a little bit - and keep them around as backups/spares.

hey man, be the first, you can always strip them and re-do if you dont approve

time attack scheme looks good to me.

Well, if this damn lady that owns the shop in town ever gets my shocks in, I'll be set to lower the damn car and I'll probably be painting the wheels like this. If I don't like them, or they look out of place, I'll probably strip them, and polish them or something.

Red and a silver Audi don't go well together.
