Hello guys
I am having problem with random cylinder misfire detected only when I press gas 100%. I have been told that there are some restriction ie: fuel filter dirty. I have changed fuel filter and nothing same problem; I have changed spark plugs and nothing. So I have decided to drop my car to a service guy. He checked the car and told me that there is possible problem in gas tank and computer saying that my gas thank has less than 2 gallons of fuel and that computer is not letting me use full power and than check engine flashes.

Any solution will be appreciated.

Thank you

Did you gap them at .028?

Try the ICM

It only started 2 weeks ago. After I have replaced fuel filter and spark plugs it felt better but it is still very bad. You press gas and there is no response, only you can here engine misfiring continuously.

Also maybe check fuel pressure and see if your fuel pump is putting out enough fuel. I have a bad misfire (running lean) if I don't baby the throttle real easy. I can't go much over 30 mph right now. I can hear fuel pump whining. Having fuel pump replaced tomorrow to see if that will fix my problem.

I just picked up my car from mechanic and he gave me a paper showing CODE 17708 P1300 Misfire detected Reason: Fuel level too low.
