What are you running as far as mods because I usually hit between 320-325 and I have an APR stage III, and all the goodies that go along with it as well as a few others.

wow....just got the car few months ago...so it's kinda stock...(just a 710n and bkre7s)

i figured that for the most part the more mods you got the less miles your tank puts out.....guess i'm wrong....

mods here i come!

I get about 21-24 depending on my driving. Its good when I average 100mi per 1/4 tank.

Did you sea foam your crank case? or just the intake and fuel?

I get 325-350 per tank in town (25-40 mph) and 400-450 on highways and freeways. I've averaged 38 mpg for a few hours on the highway before.

To reset the MPG hold the button under the wiper stalk. It will reset whatever field is currently displayed. I reset all of them whenever I fill my tank.

Seafoam every oil change is excessive and wasteful, not to mention a good way to piss off the neighbors. Once every year or two is plenty.

I just replaced my O2 sensor and I am averaging 24mpg (calculated)...not using the trip numbers. 330-340 mile range/tank. I do mostly highway driving though. 60 miles to work one way!

I have the Seafoam at home to try out....will it deteriorate my seals if I use it in the oil? I just had the head gasket, cam chain tensioner gasket, and crank/cam seals done...I don't want to risk getting an oil leak now.

damn. I'm definitly doing this on saturday. I've already sea foamed the intake and fuel, but still only get 220 mile to a tank.

It all depends on what you start out at. The car already had the Stage III on it when I bought it, but my friend has a stock 2000 1.8t Passat and he gets about 32-35 mpg while I am right around 21-22 mpg depending on how I drive. So if I were you I would start documenting your fuel consumption to see if the mods you do hurt or help your mpg. I haven't tried the seafoam yet but it is next on the list and I will post if there are any differences. For now just regular maintenance, oil and spark plug changes.

Wow, I got nearly 29 MPG on my last tank... not bad it seems. I've only done the 91 Octane APR chip, Projectzwo exhaust and a 710N so far.
