View Full Version : miles!
so as my car just turned over 24,000 miles, i got to thinking about how reliable audis are. so far, i have not had any major problems. i put 19,000 miles on my car in the first year of ownership, AND i work from home. i just love driving that thing. how many miles do you have, and how reliable has it been?

I've had my car three weeks and I've put on about 600 miles. I already have to take it to the dealership this Saturday for a leaky windshield washer fluid reservoir. The light came on about two weeks ago, so I filled it up thinking that it probably just came low from the factory. Two days later, the light comes on again and the tank is bone dry. I then noticed the blue puddle under the car.
I know it's trivial, but I'm a little surprised I have to take it in so soon. Absolutely love the car though!

i feel like i never drive.. 13k miles since july of '05
- trunk latch replaced
- some problem that was never fully explained to me which caused the car to turn on for 1-2 seconds, then stall
- one of the fresh air intakes wasn't sealed correctly, so i had standing water on the front passenger floormat
...all were fixed without a problem

33,000km since June 2006.
Manufacturer related defects:
- minor squeak (but took a few months to pinpoint and 1 day to fix; in between the car was at dealership for a total of 1 month)
- 1 coolant leak
- 1 coil pack failure
- 1 vacuum line split
- weird smelling A/C (covered under warranty)
other issues were because of mods. apart from these, i'd say the car is quite reliable.

on my 05 b6. i had for 2 years and 53,000 miles and i only had an issue with my windshield wipers getting stuck straight up. Also i had a transmission replaced due to audi service, they were suppose to replace tranny fluid and they drained it and never filled it up and after 1 month of driving trans went and it was replaced under warranty. new 07 B7 after 1 month no issue.
