I resently purchased what I thought were oem replacement sized rear rotors for my B5 A4(2001) quattro, turns out they are too big, they are for a B6 A4. I bought them from ecs tuning, they had them listed as oem at 245mm, should be 232mm right? I found some carriers, and does any one know if I can run these with B5 stock calipers with out any problems?[confused]

Appreciate input, Rich.[:)]

If the dimensions you listed are correct, then I would guess that you would have to use some sort of spacer to move the caliper further out in order to be able to run a 13mm larger rotor.

I think the calipers should match up. I would check the lateral offset of the B6 carriers first. They may match up if you have B6 rotors but I'm not positive.

My recent experience has shown that the B5 S4 rotors and carriers do not match up with the B6 A4 hub. The lateral offset is different. The rotor was rubbing on the caliper carrier when I put it together. In fact, I couldn't even get the rotor to sit flush on the hub when the carrier was bolted on. The offset difference was huge (maybe 1/4inch).
