well its happened my headliner has began sagging, its pretty bad. any ideas on how to fix this problem its getting worse everytime i get in the car

Normally the insullation breaks down between the fabric and the headliner, so removing the whole headliner and recovering it is about the only way for it to look good.

If you pull a corner down and vacum out all the loose stuff, then reglue it, it will be really lumpy

wat about if i put some material or something under wear the foam has broken down

rip it off...put some Ultrasuede[:D]

only part of the foam has broken down.... some will be 1/2" thick, 3/8" thick, 1/8", I tried it once on an audi 80, I pulled down the rear all the way to the sun roof and scraped off ever bit I could and glued it back up... it looked like gravel texture........ But my headliner wasnt sagging

yea i really dont wanna have to buy a new headliner. ive already spent to mcuh money on this car and its time to get rid of it !!

this is what i did with mine. thanks to a4rob, he inspired me and my car.


i still have to d little more work to make it look better.

im in the middle of doing an entire headliner swap useing s4 parts, such a pain in the ass with a rollbar in the car.
