What would work best and fit without spacers? I just got my 5-spoke factory rims painted a gorgeous gunmetal with mucho metal flake. So, i'm not looking to upgrade to 18" wheels. Would b5 S4's work? A8 upgrade? Anything else? Best place(s) to buy?

you can upgrade to the 3.0L setup. It is a tad bigger than the 1.8T brakes. You can also fit the B5 S4 brakes under the 0EM 17" Sport wheels. I believ some folks have even fitted the B6 S4 brakes under the OEM 17's. You may want to run a quick search on AW for that one. I went with the Stoptech 332mm BBK and it fits just fine under the OEM 17" 5-Spoke Sport wheels. The STaSIS/Alcon 328mm BBK also fits.

Check www.purems.com for kits and prices. Mike Kim over there is great to deal with. Or if you want Alcon or Stoptech call Jermey at Matrix.

Well... b7's stills use those 17" sport wheel... and they run b6 s4 caliprs with b5 rotors... so it'll fit those.. not sure if you have the b6s4 rotors on there if it'll fit.

Bone stock 3.0 brakes, just got the car. Had it for 2 weeks, and SEVERELY miss the brakes from my M/B c320.

why not start with some good pads and a brake bleed and see what you think. The ferrodo ds2500 pads are great and should make a solid improvment.

B7/B6 S4 brakes/rotors fit just fine.

stoptech 332 would fit with the weights relocated, alcon 328 might fit. B5s4 will fit, why don't you try better pads first since 3.0 brakes are better than the 1.8T

I see your brakes look as shitty as mine after a hard winter and lots of Axxis Ultimate brake dust. I am installing the Carbotech's this weekend. I will give ya a review next week. I am also putting the Carbotechs in my wifes car so i can give a review with stock calipers too. :)
